I never thought the day would come that I'd be comforted to hear John Thune would be in charge.

He's a smarter rick scott & McConnell disciple. Ruthless.

He may actually care a tiny tiny little bit about the Senate's institutional credibility, though, which is more than can be said about Rick Scott.

Maybe the Republican senators realized that they will never have a Trump election year again. They are kinda free?
