Such a well written piece and, indeed, the 1st detailed account I have read about the actual dismantling process. Insanely, Trump/DOGE could have achieved their purported goal of minimum statutory requirements through the legal process given the ease with which new boards could be approved by GOP.

I believe this is what @maddow.msnbc.com was talking about last night. US Marshals will not confirm it was them that executed the raid. Is Musk using private“muscle” to gain entry? Be good to find out if they are impersonating USM. Too many criminals in this racket. They all belong in jail.

Fed uses security guard contractors to control access to agencies, including a company linked to Erik Prince, and US Marshals have already deputized Musk’s personal security detail for limited purposes. In other words, it’s so bad, I’m not even sure they need to impersonate Marshals.
