You ask us a good question, but we disagree with your answer! As our article discusses we should look at the whole picture and extraction of gas is very problematic. With all heating we are balancing pros and cons and wood burning is no exception.

We can all play the yes or no game, but if we are honest we know things are much more nuanced. Which is why we are happy to meet and discuss. Realise trust is an issue, but if these discussions are to achieve anything we have to put these trust-issues aside and give it a go.

I am just looking at the pollution from burning of wood and burning of gas. Just that part.

Even when you look at the whole picture, gas is better, and renewables are much better.
They cause less health issues.
