Couldn't agree more, but it's not just the BBC. Most of the weekend papers seem to be enthralled by the idea of Farage as next PM. Part of how we got to where we are now.

Still waiting for Farage-mesmerised BBC to devote more than passing sentence to fact that Greens have more councillors than Reform and that Ed Davey's Lib Dems have all bit wiped out the Tories in their traditional shire heartlands....

Not obsessed with governance, nor with panem, just with circenses.
The media are thus responsible for the rise of populism in general.
How can any one person, company, establishment - whatever u want to call it in the UK / a Brit with proper values, a sense of decency, ethics, morality - u name it / ever wish for a Farage as a PM
Thatβs equal to installing Trump
He's probably got his short selling plan lined up already.
And I actually hope (which isnβt kind, I know) that those councils that voted for Reform UK will be so mismanaged that people will wake up
Can't wait for them to come up against employment law. Half of these idiots don't realise this isn't America.
Why?
Apart from #Libdems & #Greens reality has been "cancelled" by media, TV, Newspapers and by Cons & Lab Politicians.
#Starmer rejected all safeguards, PR, Lords Election for temporary absolutely power. π‘
It's why Farage is great for them and Starmer is hopeless - he's just too boring and lacks any charisma on camera.
Reform is the Nigel Farage party. Make that be a problem.
