No, I'm a pretty basic builder. Snip, file, assemble, line, decals, display. That's all I do.

That’s really well done then — I always have issues with seeing the decals translucent against the plastic without doing a bunch of prep and some kind of coat

There is no paint here, I don't paint for that reason. I used to airbrush for 40k but it's a lot of process and set up and tear down/washing equipment. I don't have time to do all that. I get hobby time in hour increments I need to stop and start because toddlers. And it's financially a barrier too.

Well there's gold marker on the rear thrusters but the blue is all bare plastic. And yeah decals and imagination. I always tell people decals can completely change a model. I've got 4 more GM Spartans in different plastic colors and my goal is to make each look different with decals.

Thank you, it's just a stock GM Spartan made from 2 of the bootlegs one in navy and one in blue with some fancy decals. They could make this by just moulding it in blue. Because it's made from bootlegs I probably don't want to send it to Bandai 😬

The name made me wonder if there's actually an underwater variant and as it turns out, someone made a 3D-printable conversion kit for the command type to turn it into a RAG-79 Aqua GM.

This is cool! If I was a better modeller I'd have attempted to kitbash or scratch build a snorkel/piping for it. However at the moment that's a bit beyond my comfort zone.
