While I do hold the opinion that we need more judges, writing software that determines the most appropriate venue and assigns an available judge with the reasonably least amount of potential bias (with a target of zero) is not something beyond our reach.

Can you explain how your system would know, for example, "people will make an issue about the spouse of the magisterial judge who only handled arraignment previously working as a mid level manager/IP lawyer in an adjacent but adversarial field to the victim's employment"

Also, how that relates to bias.

It seems like your system would not only need to know the parties to the case, but those within several degrees of relation in *any way* to the parties, all of the employment history and financial circumstances of even unrelated parties...

So even before we get to setting actual rules for this system, what you are advocating for seems to require a massive surveillance apparatus that completely ignores privacy rights of people outside the reach of the court. That is very, very bad

Define how it knows "Potential Bias"
And what happens if the next judge with no potential bias is booked up for 4 months?
