Absolutely agree with this. The match doesn’t feel the same when not meeting with mates and family for a drink before or after. It’s probably the best bit!! It’s just not the same with the early and late kickoffs. Monday night football really is the shittest.

I enjoy going, but the midweek games for someone who lives an hour away are really starting to grate

From it being the odd treat, it now seems like every home game, and no wonder the Turf looks half empty, a lot of our fan base lives outside the BB postcode and sometimes you just can't get there

Even not living too far away at just up by the Bobbin it can take an age to get home on a night match if you don’t leave before the final whistle. I honestly don’t recall a season having so few Saturday 3pm home games.

I bought a ticket for the Luton game last-season, they moved it from the Saturday to Monday, the day after my ferry home, so I cancelled. Then they moved it to the Friday, so I could have gone. Pretty much of the opinion I’ll never manage to attend the Turf in the foreseeable future.

With regards to fixture changes I liked how they did a full half season worth at the start so you knew where you stood. I know we are now on a rolling weekly announcement 1 month in advance which is probably bare minimum but could do with being longer

I’ve been unlucky, more than anything. Booked a ticket for Watford at home months in advance, then lockdown happened the week before. The Luton one was pure bad fortune. Saved me money on hotels and ferry, but I’d still liked to have come over.
