I haven't posted much at all since DT took office. It feels silly to post about academic stuff when our democracy is under attack. It has also been difficult for me to handle how much or how little to post about the current situation in our country.

Here are some considerations to balance:
1. I am no political expert, which makes me uncomfortable commenting on anything outside the philosophy of science,
2. I don't want to retreat in the comfort of my privilege,
3. I'd rather get involved locally than engaging in internet outrage.
So I will try to get back to posting academic stuff. I probably won't post much political stuff. That does not mean that I am just fine with Musk' shenanigans.
"Qui tacet consentit." You are a moral being, and so feel compelled to speak the truth in the face of lies. Go for it, or bear the guilt of evil that proceeds without objection.
Fully agreed. Except I don’t know that posting online is the best way to do that. Showing up to protests, volunteering, and give some money to organizations working on resisting seems more effective.
