The only “information” I’m gonna get by watching speeches is how she’s gonna come across to the minority who watch entire speeches by politicians. All that matters for the election are the clips that actually circulate, unless you’re just trying to predict what the *campaign* will do next

That is due to the critically uninformed electorate in this country. It is not the responsibility of the candidates to shove facts down people's throats. They have to actually care about what's at stake. Clearly most voters simply do not care enough to be informed.
