There was a lot of waste and inefficiency. It’s called hiring independent contractors to do work for the government instead of building greater capacity inside the government.

Our government should have been larger than it was not smaller.

NASA shouldn’t be hiring spacex they should be building rockets. Etc.

The federal employees I know have pointed out to me that many of the "inefficiencies" in their systems are because they are already understaffed.

Basically I hate when people are like “well there are SOME inefficiencies” and I’m like “any system that large is going to have some… you will never eradicate them. Plus, if what you’re comparing is union workers vs like Amazon delivery people, that’s not inefficiency that’s just working conditions”

Completely. They need to push back hard and say “show me the inefficiency without lying: I happen to think our government works are doing a great and efficiency job with the resources we give them”
