I'm asexual so this directly impacts me and my LGBTQ friends, so that's where I'm putting my efforts. If you don't know your local community now is the time to learn
Find the people local to you that you can physically be around. There are strength in numbers.
Now's the time to start making those connections.
I hate that the worst, smuggest, smarmiest, most insufferable people will be sneering at us for the next X years. I hate that my friends will probably be hurt.
I can't do anything through a computer screen so I gotta do it in person.
These are places you can go even if you aren't safe at home. You can be around like-minded people and find resources to BECOME safe. And you can also have fun and make friends.
It's about finding people local to you. Having fun together! Doing board game nights, watching movies, just being around others.
