I am begging, begging, BEGGING people to check out:
-Food Wishes
-Adam Ragusea
-Internet Shaquille
They provide entertaining videos on cooking that are tightly edited, fun, and geared towards things home cooks can make.
Spectacle is fun, but it's not what you're having for dinner every night.

just good explanations of how food and cooking work
Very knowledgeable Canadian husband and wife, actual job is in good photography/advertising with cooking videos as a side hobby.
The whole thing with Joshua Weissman being like this now kinda sucks, I cant even associate those good memories with my mom anymore bc hes just- aaaaa
Like watching a home cook who gets the theory behind it but doesn't cook like a line cook is really neat. Especially all the videos where he does the "no fuck that if the dish you like is in a bowl?"
@axiomfox.bsky.social who are some other food youtubers you like? that are accessible to a general audience?
If you want bonus cozy? Justalex. Take a look :3
I can't put it all here. Lots, but I'll create a separate post for it.

She's a bona-fide national treasure in Australia, offering up family meals that are super simple. I used to think I was a bad cook. I was just using bad recipes. Every single meal I've made by Nagi has been easy and tasty and FILLING!
I hadn't seen that.
Also, honorable mention for J. Kenji Lopez Alt!
Sip and Feast
Brian Lagerstrom
Chef Jean Pierre
Matty Matheson
Down to earth cooking without over the top nonsense π
He does some great stuff.
Another I'd like to add is BrianLagerstrom.
Brian is often very considerate about the kinds of ingredients and methods he uses in the kitchen and mixes things up by sharing very approachabe (AND AFFORDABLE) cooking options, and makes baking less scary for novices.
Vintage recipes that works 50% of the time
I got his book for christmas!
Kris Campbell told PBS where to go after they refused to pay him "celebrity" wages
he flies solo now and it's bad...
Cooks Country is expensive for what you get but they are definitely worth the price if you pay for the content.
I just couldn't justify it though being on #ODSP.
But after what happened with Cambell... and then I found out about the paywall behind the show's content I kinda slinked away.
It was about the time I moved almost 9% into youtube for all my content as well so i found replacements.
