I am not so sure about that... Hillary showed that you can get the popular vote, VP Harris held her ground in blue states, the fact that most Americans aren't ready for a black woman held her back & also she was a late entry. The key would be adding an open gay male to the tckt would be an issue

Perhaps…but, and I really hate I am saying this, do we want to take the risk? Maybe 2032….
I, and my friends…mostly Boomers, voted for Hillary and Kamala. I am pretty sure they’d vote for Pete too.
Just not sure and don’t have a lot of faith in the American people, as a whole though.

It's a conversation that I have with my "black friends" often. Who feel disillusioned at the moment. Particularly with the current state of the democratic party & it's direction. I also voted for both women & like you, I sense it would be a risk. however, I do want adequate, intelligent, leadership

He knows history, conflict & discrimination. He knows how to fight with intellect & common sense, not violence. He knows how to reach people & find common ground. Not to put any pressure on Pete, but I think he's going to be instrumental in leading the way to help get us out of this catastrophe.
