Harris hawks (Parabuteo unicinctus) are unusually social among birds of prey, and are known to often live in groups comprised of more than just 2 adults, and hunt cooperatively to overwhelm large prey. Hunting groups can be comprised of a pair and their adult young, or of unrelated hawks.
