Mild interest but every time I've joined an art-based discord server no one is ever interested in community, they all just post and drop and never respond to anything. They've always been very self-centered, in my experience, so I'm a bit hesitant...

Well, this server just started, so it's only been a few days but I explicitly created this server to combat that and I have explicitly declined adding any commission or market based channels to avoid monetizing the community. So far we've had folks everyday come together and make art in VC (like rn)

and we've already got our first community class (hosted by one of the members) planned as well as some other events planned!

So... I can't say what it will turn out like exactly but I can say that I'm trying explicitly to build a different type of community
