They’ve almost got a full XI unavailable, which includes their preferred CB pairing of a World Cup winner and the unicorn who almost single-handedly makes Ange’s whole thing work in the PL. it’s wild

On the one hand, if you have a uniquely talented player who allows you to do something special, you should absolutely build around that player. On the other, you should have another plan if that player is unavailable, or make a primary plan that fits your whole team 🤷‍♀️

Losing key players can throw off an entire system, but also, losing half a team and not having the room to rest others but rather making them pick up all the increased slack, leading to their own poor performances... context is all I ever ask in football. Will never happen.
