It took a week to get help from Liberal assistance, but I was finally able to vote today. I'm sure they are swamped. In person I D verification at the post office is probably the easiest route.
I went to the post office they said I needed a bar code which no one has sent me. I do not think they could have made this any harder if they tried many people will not be voting.
There is a form that you have to be given. When you pick in person verification at PO you should receive an email with that form attached which has the bar code. I made the mistake of choosing the app first and getting nowhere. But it took days to be able to change my mode of verification.
This is all so upsetting. Some people are rejected because a birthdate is entered wrong, or some other obscure issue. There should have been confirmation of our identities a month ago so it was all done long before the vote.
The identity selfie didn't work the first time, but then I realized I didn't have glasses on in my license photo. I took off my glasses the second time, and it worked just fine.
I have voter ID, verified no problem, but when I ask for a ballot I’m told that I’m not registered. Meanwhile, spousal unit who is a post-retirement Luddite and needed my help voted no problem. Argh!

The actual voting part worked great!
