As someone who isn't even close to making art into a proper career it's one of those things that eats at me. The thought of "Why am I even doing this" happens a lot more since I mean, people can just get art of higher quality than I can make generated. It rly hurts.

Dont quit! Making art is beautiful and learning and getting better at it is so worth it. We are all scared but I think the more we reject AI collectively the more chances we have.
Looking back at ur old art to see how much you've improved is one of the best feelings my friend 😁

It has definitely inspired me, but in a good way! Especially this most recent development with the Ghibli stuff. For me, it has gotten to a point where I think it's embarrassing for anyone to think that any of that stuff is good. It has given me a confidence in my own work and a similar drive!
