I just checked the dates, and I've had my stoma for 1001 days. How's that for symmetry?? It's done so well, too - gonna thank it for being an excellent temporary orifice. And then tomorrow it's getting a new job in connecting to the colon stump. Truly a versatile bit of small intestine! #NayeHealth
