To my mind, these pitches are to blame.
Playing and training, there's just no 'give' in them, which means no respite for the player.
Seemingly, trying to out do each other, at the detriment to both the game and the players
I get what you are saying but clubs are never going to support reducing the number of European fixtures, so it is a dead end.
I just don't see how the body can handle the trauma of it
