I am more and more convinced that the failure to grapple with the US’s foundational sins of genocide, ethnic cleansing, slavery, Jim Crow, etc meant the foundation was always here for a slide (back) into fascism.

Add in the contemporary Dem failure to hold Trump accountable, the failure to protect repro rights, the failure to take action on the Court, the failure to meaningfully address income inequality, the ‘opposition’ party taking boatloads of $$ from all the wrong people/orgs…..
