We need to design and deploy a service that can't be shut down.
I have been working on a standards based approach to binding JSContact data to a DNS Handle as is used on Blue Sky.
With minor modification to Signal, this would enable end-to-end trust as well.
Mesh messaging doesn't have a fixed service provider, you choose it yourself, you can switch at any time, you can be your own service provider.
Backdoors will *never* be used by only "the good guys".
They have not asked for a backdoor. (That would be stupid)
