A slight correction, this actually is a new bill. The Patients Before Monopolies Act, sponsored by Democrat E. Warren and Republican J. Hawley. It does seem though there’s quite a backlog of pharma reform though dating back before the shooting took place.

The best solution is creating our own mutual aid based healthcare program, refusing to pay into the existing system, and thereby driving down costs as giant insurance companies lose their power and monopoly. Remember that it’s insurance and hospital boards and CEOs that set the prices.
