I once saw someone nalbinding, which requires *lots* of spit joins, who carried a very small container of water with them that they could dip the yarn end in to avoid using spit. I thought that was quite genius!

Speaking as someone who does nalbinding with a little jar of water, totally worth it. I really don’t like the texture or taste of wool or having fibers in my mouth, so I have a little 4oz mason jar that I keep in my project bag now. Total game changer.
