But it's all good, because this didn't cost a lot, the actual sewing is pretty straightforward, and it's another opportunity for learning how to cut strips. I want to at least get it pieced today. 🤞
Oh look, there's still goddamn red lint in my rotary cutter. I'm going to have to take the blade out to clean it. It's a new blade, too, which just annoys me even more. 😑
Halle-fucking-lujah the cutting is done. The hero of today's cutting drama is the Omnigrid 2229 Ruler Grip Double Suction Cup handle which I bought just in the last week after reading lots of online reviews before just saying screw it and getting this one. It's great with the giant quilting ruler.
Welp, turns out this is strip set piecing and I just do not have it in me to put away the sewing machine again to cut the strip sets before continuing to piece this thing. So it's not getting done today. Also the maniacal cackle I let out when I saw these had two different WOF lengths. 🤷♀️
