There's a lot of it going around unfortunately. Impersonate a well-known entity to gain a high follower count, then sell the account to someone who can then change the name and voila!
You've been mooching about here longer than most...maybe when bsky had 4m users this might have made sense as a placeholder...it's almost like they don't know what they're dealing with...BTW I'm a huge fan of SBS
