If they apply to rejoin the EU, they’ll lose the next election. Then the application will be rejected/withdrawn.

There’s no viable method to rejoin the SM and the CU would be so complicated as to take years, all with no benefit to people.

They have to show improvements before 28/29

“it’s a bit difficult” is neither the reasoning nor a reflection of reality.

It isn’t possible and would only cause damage with no benefit, to anyone except Farage & badenoch.

Yes, because that majority only exists if you ask the very high level question. If you discuss actual issues, like losing the £ & taking the €, support drops to 34%. The “majority” is 55-60% & includes “join now” & “join at some point”.
& it won’t happen whilst the tories would just leave again

You're missing the point and that is that the discussion needs to start now. I'm not suggesting it happen in this parliament but that doesn't mean we don't talk about the many benefits.

And for what it's worth I don't think we'd need to adopt the Euro

I don’t disagree that the discussion needs to start, but the govt aren’t the right people to start it. It needs to be the public doing it & becoming informed.
The state of our politics if Labour even mention it it’ll be wall to wall coverage for years.
We’ll have to take the Euro, all new members do

It does also suggest that a long-term Tory Govt is bad for Britain. They’ve spectacularly failed to grow the economy since the financial crisis and austerity was the wrong route to travel. Cameron and Osborne did huge damage and that’s not acknowledged often enough. A pair of posh twats.

Yes, you can see that, the clear downturn in 2020 long after the trace initially decouples from the long-term trend in 2008. The one thing you can't see is the Brexit vote in 2016.

Don’t disagree with Brexit not working but posting a graph to 2008 rather than 2020 is not very factual. I moved from X to get away from misleading posts. It needs to be to 2020 and include a comparison with the major EU countries to give a real picture.

Corbyn’s ideological dislike of the EU meant he didn’t oppose it, but let’s not pretend that Brexit isn’t a Tory policy.

They really don’t.
It was a Tory referendum, a Tory plan and Corbyn was an aberration, so much so that he’s no longer in the party. The membership and most of the PLP were against it.
The same is not true of the tories.
