We're coming up on what, nearly 2 years? Why wasn't hostage retrieval done by small, special forces-type strike teams early on with nearly guaranteed success? I know why: Israel wasn't interested in saving hostages, they (meaning that criminal PM of theirs) just wanted an excuse to go all out.
