Took them longer than I thought.
They probably are still stunned at being the 'good guy' in story.
I'm glad they have the means as well as a pretty slam-dunk case in Trump's suspension of allocated funds and the flimsy excuses when all he wants is submission.
SCOTUS will agree w/Trump. Havard, go right to SCOTUS. Don't waste our money with BS. DEI is illegal. Why does Harvard need funding then? It was for DEI. They are not welcome anymore. Many grads are the Gentlemen C students. Let their families make up the difference. Name a freakin bldg after them.
I so hope that Obama writes an Amicus Curiae Brief for Harvard - he seems to be singularly positioned with knowledge of Harvard and the White House (although Michelle may also be interested based on her experiences too).
If Trump’s going to threaten Harvard’s tax-exempt status just because they won’t bend to his will, then it’s time to stop playing nice. Law firms are enabling him! Maybe Harvard should start revoking degrees from those who are helping him weaponize the law. Enough is enough!
Did anyone really expect a convicted felon who attempted to overthrow the Constitution to do his constitutional job to execute the laws and budgets passed by the legislative branch Congress?
#ImpeachAndRemove. This self-own by Republicans has gone on long enough.
This seems like a pretty no brainer case that they should easily win. Of course, we already know the Trump Admin. will appeal it up to SCOTUS where they have a friendly court.
In fairness, it isn’t as friendly as it looks at first glance. Roberts and Coney-Barrett are emerging as relative centrists. Even Kavanagh shows some independence from time to time.
