A thing that hits so hard is just how many of the Admin’s arguments are just transparently bad faith. This is the branch charged with faithfully executing our laws…they are making a mockery of the entire system.

You hit the nail on the head. Now legacy media needs to report it as such instead of sticking with their own bad faith practices. We are running out of time.
Yeah, it's totally Sleepy Joe's fault -- he "denied several requests to improve cybersecurity," according to one MAGA apologist who was speaking on BBC News Hour Monday overnight!
It doesn't help that so much of the news media reports this without the bad faith context, artificially dignifying it and making it seem like "politics as usual."
The sooner Americans come to realise that these people simply do not care about norms, rules, ethics, morals, anything, the sooner they can start to treat them as the existential threat they are.
Without unambiguous rules and strict, timely, consistent enforcement and consequences....
time and again they were allowed to get away with speaking and acting in bad faith because it was bad form to question their sincerity even when the bad faith was obvious
If we could get Conservatives to see that we have needed institutional evolution for well over 150 years, we would be able to establish an independent administrative state that's staffed by a representative body of citizen domain experts that enforce the Constitution without political interference.
And the Congress is perfectly comfortable to continue that bad faith by supporting whatever Trump says he wants. No regard for the Constitution, no care for any effects on their constituents, no evaluation of basic right and wrong. They are merely a rubber stamp.
