Haven’t shopped at Target, Walmart or Amazon. Also, canceled kindle unlimited and audible. That one has been hard but I’m ok getting my books from the library/libby. Helping me be more patient and saving me money 🥰

Same here. Completely stopped Target and Walmart. More shopping at Costco and only occasional buys at Amazon; cancelled Wapo, Kindle Unlimited and Audible. Reading/listening on Libby and hoopla from my local library.
The library is great! Also there’s an excellent alternative to audible. https://Libro.fm works the same and lets you partner with a local bookstore to benefit from your purchases. And you keep your books forever and can download them.
Still getting a few things at Wally World/Sam's (newish to area and continue to look for better options). We resorted to two items from Amazon in 3 months. Haven't set foot inside a Target for almost 2 years. Kindle/Audible gone. All Meta products gone since January.
Costco is a great alternative to Sam's as they pushed back against efforts to have them cancel DEI programs. For personal care items, try CVS. They still have their DEI program last I checked.
You can shop online they don’t charge for shipping but charge a bit more than in the store. My Costco is nearby but sometimes I buy online so I don’t have to fight the crowd 😂
Versus the places you name, Target remains the most progressive of these by far…yes, they screwed up publicly sunsetting these programs, but they haven’t changed operationally and still feature and promote products/businesses owned by POC, pay tuition for employees, and hire a diverse crew.
lNo I’m not….and that’s not true. I’m not here to convince you that the rollback was correct, just to correctly point out that there is irony (and arguably hypocrisy) in boycotting Target but shopping at a Walton or Amazon. Amazon has rolled back DEI and Walton stores are joke on every issue.
They're all bad. My goal is shop at NONE of them. I live in a small city with limited options. Now that I know I can use Costco online, I'll shop there and pass on WalMart and Sams. But thanks for calling me a hypocrite. That's helpful. Especially when I am trying my best and mess up here and there.
Lol…yet you pejoratively ask if I’m a “reply bot.” And I did not call you a hypocrite…just noting that engaging with two retailers far worse than Target while boycotting Target can be viewed by some as “arguably” hypocritical behavior…only you can answer if that makes you one. Be well.
