Current news corp cycle is going to Australian politicians and asking "do you agree with this thing Trump did?" And then writing "diplomacy outrage" when they don't immediately agree to adopt the same policy.

How is it that Australia is picking the fight? Trump is the one who made the changes, so by any objective analysis, it's Trump who is picking the fight. Imagine 13 years of schooling, years at uni, cadetships, and this is the journalism you put your name to. No wonder people like Trump succeed
People need to just start spitting random numbers in response to that question. And if asked it again, give a totally different number. If the reporter asks where you got that number from, just tell them you pulled it out of your arse. Why not, it's a bullshit question now, give a bullshit answer.
Can't just be random, has to be completely nonsensical. Moment you say there are 573 genders, that's the sound bite which will be pushed completely out of context.
Best answer right now would be to mention Trump's poorly wondered presidential order which inadvertently defined everyone as Female.
Australia has a huge problem with media being run by billionaire wanna-be oligarchs, backed by just plain shite scared of the wanna-be oligarchs. Our dem system won’t last here just like it didn’t in US once public’s sources of information are corrupted.
Australia's 'mainstream' monopoly media orgs were corrupted, bought up & controlled by conservative oligarchs well before US media has been.
Australia was a forerunner in a supposedly democratic country living in a conservative propaganda bubble.
US is a recent thing.
They still call it out
We don't
There is a toxic alignment along the right axis of Murdoch, Rinehart, Pratt, Palmer, Hanson, Dutton, IPA...all working in league to drag Australia towards an oligarch-driven MAGA future.
