Cheeks blush, nerves tingle
as I hear him call out my name
in a voice pickled with
a million #feathers.
Sometimes he chuckles,
as if the clouds have
finally learned to laugh.
But no one would notice-
my heart in knots,
blood gushing,
my whole being keeling over
