Any possibility of supporting Xbox some day? I really think Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is the perfect place to start on a new platform. Other games like Atelier Yumia, the Persona franchise & the Yakuza franchise have really grown by embracing all platforms day one.

Japan is mostly irrelevant in this conversation. These games are selling globally & the Japanese market is only a small part of that. The US market is one of the biggest & you lose a large portion of the console space without Xbox.

Atelier Yumia is a great example, fastest selling in the franchise.

Japan is relevant since Falcom is a JAPANESE company. If you want them on Xbox, ask them, but again I don't think they'll go for it since there's literally one Falcom game on Xbox currently (Ys Origins), and it's also the only one not to have a disc version.

It's a WORLDWIDE market. If they want to sell more copies & grow the IP then the examples I gave show a way. If you're making a video game for Japan then why bother translating it to English? Why bother with console at all, mobile is king there.

The only valid reason not to would be resources.
