Right now I think he needs to cut back on the number of Disney jobs he does and focus on his own projects, but people on social media absolutely began trashing Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hamilton when he came out as a strong Hillary supporter.

As someone with three kids under 8 I must hard disagree. He needs to write every song in every Disney movie. Moana 2 was pure trash and Mufasa was a bad movie but the soundtrack is excellent and definitely saved it.
Also fair! And honestly, I’ll take another Hamilton any day! I convinced my 3 year old (now 5) that it was Alligator Hamilton and we listened to it a lot. She was…not impressed when we finally watched it together on Disney+
Right now, LMM has earned the right to do whatever makes him happy. His legacy was secured with Hamilton. If he wants to write songs about coconuts and dancing chickens, he can have at it.
