There are good reasons to be concerned about Spot robots (esp. police and surveillance applications), but "brutalized by a police Spot" is a new one for me! 🤷‍♂️

As of today, the surveillance is the biggest issue. Especially if for some reason you’re being pursued.

However, being brutalized by a Spot is coming. Sooner rather than later.

Yeah, that's sort of the MO of Ghost Robotics... One of their main selling points seems to be their comically loose ethical boundaries.

The flip side is that (unless I've missed something) these are mostly marketing stunts. Pretty basic drones have been effective in Ukraine.

The effect is that there might not be a whole lot separating Boston Dynamics from Ghost Robotics (both do surveillance, security) except that one markets more aggressively to the military.
