First up is #HB35, one of 4 identical bills that would eliminate the "sunset clause" in Missouri's gender-affirming-care ban from 2 years ago. Rep. Billington is quite difficult to understand, but what is clear is that he's sharing all sorts of lies and distortions around trans medical care.

When Missouri passed #SB49 2 years ago, it made it impossible for trans kids to get best-practice gender affirming healthcare in the State of Missouri. However, we were able to negotiate a "sunset clause" to try to mitigate the harm. However, of course they are back to try to remove this clause.
