I post lots about alt text as disability justice. You should use it on all images and enable the “require alt text” setting.
But if your username uses a fancy font, is full of emojis, or has other tedium for screen readers, all your posts are inaccessible, even if you use alt text.

I've known for a long time that stuff like that limits accessibility- and have been trying to avoid it- but I've wondered so many times what it might actually sound like. Wow, this is bad.
lesson learned.
Tip for newskies: you can comment the pin emoji on a post to save it like a bookmark. To find those posts later, search “from:me 📌”. I often also add keywords or a short description related to the post, as I did here.
