Something I think about a lot is how one trans character can represent one of us perfectly, and misrepresent another.
There is no, and can be no, monolithic trans character. We are too varied, our paths too many, to be distilled into a single character... you will always be found wanting

Ngl, I saw a post about trans authors writing trans characters and someone labeled them as authors who would cause dysphoria, and whoo boy, that is not for one person to decide.
