Dirt Cheap compared to cars, can be charged anywhere, very low maintenance.

Fun as hell too. I wish cities would build more bike lanes.

My understanding is that the new bike lockers LA Metro is installing in some of their rail stations have outlets for charging.

My teenage son has complete autonomy, thanks to his e-bike. I'm happy. He's happy. It's a great way to get around in a community like ours, which is rural and distances are long but scenic back roads are plentiful.

the actual use of alternative modes of transport and their integration into our lives/environment is the right way forward, as opposed to optimizing modes of transport that have long since ceased to function
