This is ironic: white people in a country that only exists because colonizers migrated there 300 years ago—killing and enslaving non-white natives—are now complaining non-white people should be deported.
Maybe someone should’ve deported Cortés and the British back then…
This is the American electorate that misses their privilege and wants it all back. White supremacy is wearing thin in a browning America, despite Trump's deportation policy. It will not go down easily by the rest of America, and remember the Vietnam protest for what's still possible.
How can they miss their privilege? When did it leave? The Whitehouse, congress, corporate boardrooms, late night talk shows. Old white guys (me included) have all the acorns.
They see it differently, it's all about perceptions and what they were taught. Now its a group to blame, life not working out as were told. As said, racism is taught.
