Sadly happens in Canada too. I broke all relations with one of my best friends because he's position is that trump's an asshole but he's glad he won because democrats deserved to learn a lesson. That's beyond stupid, imo

My father was a Trumper. I'm actually thankful he passed in 2019, before J6 and Trump's second term, because there would be no way we'd be talking if he continued with MAGA. I miss him, but do not miss his ignorance.

I’ve also ended relationships with Trumpers. I’m exhausted from trying to reason with unreasonable people. They showed me who they really are by choosing to vote in the party of hate and fear. There’s really nothing more to say to them.

It’s strange because this happen in UK first with Brexit and Boris Johnson. I cannot, nor will I ever consider someone worthy of my time, who voted for these two things, and still thinks they voted wisely. Seeing what’s happening in US and the huge following on SM is terrifying.

I first realized how dangerous Trump and his supporters were in early 2016, when a friend of 17 years blocked me on FB after I objected to a pretty horrific (not to mention fascist) meme, calling Ted Cruz (a man I’m loathe to defend!) a foreign rat.
