I actually genuinely believe that gmail spam filters have gotten worse over time because it makes it easier to fill up your storage space and twist your arm into buying additional storage.

My wife and I both got notifications recently saying that our Google storage was running low. Other than telling us to delete large files, there was no way to find out what was taking up the space. Loads of links to buy more storage though.
