I don't so much dislike BlueSky. Like, we all know the sky is blue.. & We love that. I'm moreso mourning the thought that Twitter could truly be in an irreversible decline...That breaks my heart & I don't want my heart broken. Especially by a damn app-site. That’s completely understandable. I think it’s completely normal to be mourning and struggling with the adjustment. Idk if this is comforting or not, but the app we left wasn’t Twitter anymore anyway. At that point, M**k had ruined it so much it was X. 🥲

Twitter was our home for years, but our building was sold, the new LL wanted the worst ppl in the building, let the building fall into disarray, and raised the rent. While we’ve moved and love the new building, we mourn our old home. This wasn’t our choice. Feeling that this is home will take time.

Eh at this point Twitter can die. Elon has continuously fucked over that site from the moment he bought it, and his dumb decisions have made it almost unuseable for me. He has turned that site into a right-wing propaganda network, and I just don't think I can continue using it for my mental health.

I’m still flipping back and forth. There are so many great accounts on Twitter and I’ve made great friends. I’m not ready to let them go but I know I’ll probably need to make a clean break one day.
