I'm SICK about this

Joann is closing a shit-ton of stores (including mine).. I'm working hard to use fabric I've got rather than buy more, but Joann was always good for last minute needs, and supplies & notions etc.. sigh..

I just looked up fabric shops near me, and besides the Joann that is closing, it's Hobby Lobby and a few very small shops that are not actually near me. I refuse to shop at Hobby Lobby, so...I guess if it's an emergency, I'll go to Walmart. But I'll try to buy at small local owned shops or online. ☹️

same, my local quilt shop closed a few months ago.. I do have a Michaels near Joann that I'll guess I'll try for my next needs, otherwise I guess I'll buy everything online

I do have a Michael's nearby, but do they even have fabric? I know their yarn and notions are very limited.

several have said they do and are carrying more (maybe even more now since they're kind of direct competitor for Joann?), and their website looks like a good threads selection.. I haven't bought yarn for eons, last time I did it was Joann 😩
