Yes. I think it funny that people keep a distance from me, masked because I’m immunocompromised, while they have no problem with everyone coughing and sneezing all over the place.

Honestly, when I see anyone wearing a mask, I assume that they are immunocompromised and give them room out of respect. At the height of the pandemic it drove me nuts that people wouldn't follow social distance guidelines and would crowd up to me. I don't want to be "that guy".
Hilariously, I never get asked but people give me a wide berth. I’m not coughing or congested but apparently just the mask is enough to repel them. I’m totally fine with this. In part because I’m immunocompromised, I am not at all self conscious. But am vastly amused that people assume I’m sick.
I’ll never forget in the early days of 2020 I wore a mask on a downtown shuttle as I have respiratory issues and always wear a mask in the winter and this lady ran from me so fast she almost hit a pole. No one realizes you’re safer near the person with a mask.🙄
