See that ride is a hyperfixation of mine, and I can tell you originally it wasn't gonna be Aerosmith. First it was the Stones but they were too expensive, then kiss has the same issue, and U2 turned them down. Aerosmith only got the gig because Armageddon (touchstone is part of Disney)
