A marketer told me that I was stupid for releasing an 8 minute song last year because "it was bound to fail in the streaming era that favors short music"
Sahara performed amazingly last year and has nearly 2 million streams. I'm glad that I don't work with a marketing agency

At least IMO ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- No artistic interference
- No sanitizing the themes I talk about
- No strict schedule
This company was downright rude to me.
if that were really true, everyone would be releasing 31 second tracks on spotify to maximize their revenue.
My end goal is not highest streams. It's having a passionate fanbase.
I'm a musician, not a CEO.
Especially as an artist heh
Keeps up the vibe much longer and I can get really creative with it^^
Sahara is awesome!
I think the difference in that is:
Thinking about money. *insert spongebob meme*
And thinking about the art itself.
We've seen it plenty with games too.
