We should have that. But liberals in America have too much respect for fascists and their opinions that we should be exterminated so they don't wanna be called intolerant.
Liberals are part of the problem, dear. Make no mistakes: just because they use gender neutral pronouns and defend women's right to abortion doesn't mean that they don't sell all the meritocracy bs and favours the rich and powerful instead of the people whenever they can.
Do you genuinely don't keep a record of the vaccines you take? Bc I'm thinking there's no way that's true. Like, why on earth wouldn't you keep a record?
Please tell me at least for kids now a days ppl keep a record. At least of the COVID vaccine?
There are records, but they're not centralized. If you move or change doctors, you have to get your current doctor to send them to your new doctor. *If* you have a doctor!
You have to present a kid's vax records to their school, but the school keeps that info.
I dunno! Nobody ever told me to. Maybe my mom did? I have ADHD and grew up before the internet, so I wasn't keeping track of ANYTHING when I was younger. I probably have paper records for my 20yo kid -- somewhere.
A lot of things suck here! But I grew up in it, so it seems kind of normal! π€·
Hahahah that's funny cuz we here in Brazil are too obsessed about it. My mother even keeps purchase receipts from 10 years ago.
Today everything it's easier. We don't need vaccine cards anymore. All data is kept on the servers of the Ministry of Health and we can access to our vac history via App π±

Maybe I should make my own stickers to do this!
Actually, I probably should start writing down as much of my medical information as I can, just in case I need it...
Here in Brazil, in addition to the cards we keep in our possession, our Unified Health System, which is free of charge, also maintains electronic records of all the treatments we have received within the public network; and we can access this data through the federal online database (PC or app).
If you want one for reference this is not my βofficialβ one, but itβs like what theyβre using for chindren nowadays. They note the type of vaccine, lot number, date of application and whoever applied it signs the sticker
Wait, doesnβt the government keep these records? I mean, how do they know statistics like % of vaccinated people, effectiveness etc? How can they even keep track of what is being used by facilities, make sure youβre not getting letβs say, desinfectant instead of vaccine? Doesnβt make sense to me
Medical facilities report that kind of data to the government for tracking and statistical analysis. Regulations on the facilities and on medical professionals ensure that we get the right injections and whatnot.
that's sounds kinda crazy to me. it's YOUR info!! it should just be given to you!
i've also heard that you don't get your own medicine prescriptions. i understand that it could be practical to have the doctors contact the pharmacy directly, but i MUCH prefer our method, the patient gets the +
prescription and can shop around different pharmacies to get a good deal. for some medications, the pharmacy keeps the prescription, but generally not. so you have a record of what you've taken.
i keep a folder with all my medical records, like, vaccination cards, blood test results, everything.
You can ask the doctor to hand you a prescription here, though they may wonder why. But yes, generally we pick a pharmacy, and prescriptions are sent to them electronically.
I'm curious - do you guys have health insurance companies deciding whether or not to allow your prescriptions to be filled?
