What do you use to animate? These are wonderful eye candy. It also seems you get your shapes down and do a lot of deforms/transforms on them to make the movement (mostly)? You also seem to pump these out quick. I'm jelly.
Thanks! I use Clip Studio Paint EX 3.0 for animating (I prefer it to Photoshop's tools), and most of it is hand-drawn frame-by-frame, except certain bits of hard geometry (eg. cast shadows over wide areas). Any large movements are usually much easier for me to draw than deform!
Christ, even more impressed now. I do frame by frame as well and wish I could pump out stuff the way you do. Noted on the Clip Studio EX. Been staring down the barrel of that price, but it seems to be the only program that truly handles SVG file imports well. Im also just more used to CSPs controls.
I've done longer process threads over on twitter since you can put multiple gifs into each post, but generally I'm just starting with basic shapes & landmarks to get the movement right and then drawing overtop of those forms

I was curious how much it'd press into the bed, so I actually took a photo of myself in that position and found that it sinks in quite far! When all your weight is on a few limbs they go WAY further into the mattress than I expected ☺️
Haha thanks! It might seem natural but it's just the result of a week-and-a-half of constructing and planning shapes, with lots of adjustments along the way 🤧
